Antenna Design

The design of antennas is a cocktail of various ingredients, such as knowledge of evolving techniques, experience, talent, ability to integrate mechanical and intensive software simulation.

2D-Antennas

3D-Antennas

The design of these antennas is conducted mainly through mechanical CAD in order to meet the requirements of specific encapsulation.

The study is performed in a complete way by including all steps of integration and verification of the functional parameters.

 

Mechanics Integration

The most advanced level is represented by the 3D simulation of the electromagnetic field in terms of integration with the outside world.

For example, you may need to know the behavior of a specific antenna inside a driver's cab, or specific enclosure.

Finally, the antenna may be indispensable to confer a specific behavior, for example through the modeling of the radiation pattern, which may strongly depend on the external near structures.

In these cases it is essential to implement an integrated design with 3D mathematical models which represent the external environment.

 

Characterization and Prototypes

An antenna is a critical and refined electromagnetic component, for this reason, since its construcion is appropriate to engage a radio frequency set measures.

In a short time you can take advantage of a shielded room, useful characterizations as a first approximation, obtaining a preliminary overview of the performances achieved by the device.

By performing a set of measurements in anecoic room you can test the performances obtained with accuracy.

Upon completion of all phases of the prototypes are always accompanied by a technical report that becomes a datasheet.
